The 1821 Pattern of Leuitenant-Colonel George Arthur Gott. This is an officer with an interesting career, as a member of the 7th Bombay Lancers he was the Commandant of the Governor of Bombays bodyguard, both being in charge of security in the Governors residence and also protecting him on his travels, he was also part of the forces that protected the Bombay area's roads and was part of the recruiting efforts in gaining Baloch tribespeople for the British army. In 1902 as a member of the Indian Staff Corps Gott gained his promotion to Lt-Colonel. A very interesting sword and a rare part of British Indian history with a relation to an incredibly rare regiment. This sword can be yours for £750 or best offer.
