17th Cent Shearing Sword £1300

A very large British slot hilt spadroon with a long backsword blade and large grip bearing one of the most spectacular blades I have seen on this type. The sword has a pattern welded edge hardened blade with gilt inlay, unfortunately the makers mark is worn but it is likely German.
