18th Cent Gilt Pattern Welded Tulwar £500

A rather stunning pattern welded tulwar with a gilt hilt.

This blade has laddered pattern welding and is of large proportions and had a Deccan hilt. The blade has been polished to a high contrast on one side and shows a good black and white pattern as shown below.

This hilt has had some restoration to the gilt. There is some wear to the edge.
