A not often seen lance or spearhead that can be attributed to India or Afghanistan.
This piece has a long armour piercing leaf-shaped blade with a diamond section and deep engraved symmetrical designs. There is a slight pattern when etched but I am unsure if I would call this pattern-welded in the traditional sense. An interesting and rare armour piercing polearm head from one of the last theatres of war where the lance and the spear were commonly used.
