A really fun and unique piece likely dating to the last half of the 17th century, the guard is high quality and detailed brass, these cast hilts were more common in the early 18th century but were found in the late 17th. The blade is a mid-17th century broadsword blade that has been cut down with some makers marks in the fullers. The sword may be a period marriage with an heirloom blade but I feel like it is more likely this piece was made as it is very tight and the peen is untampered with.
The hilt has some shrinkage to the shagreen but the rest of the sword is in good solid condition. This sword can be yours for £850 or best offer.
