On the 17th day of Swordvent and continuing with the rather pleasant theme of knives and daggers this week we're going slightly older than I'd commonly show.

Here are three weapons dating from the 14th to 17th centuries!

What we have is a bauernwehr from the 16th century something many Messer fencers will see and love.

A stiletto from the 17th century bearing markings that appear on Italian rapiers and broad blades. With a wonderful blade profile this piece really does feel as light and deadly as it looks.

Lastly a relic baselard from potentially as early as the 14th century but I do suspect slightly later into the 15th.
