Victorian Army Vetinarians Sword

This is the sword of Army Veterinary Department Veterinary Surgeon William Nevill Wright, he appears to have entered the service in 1891 under the Viscount de Vesci in the Honourable Artillery Company, within a couple of years it appears he has joined the regular army in the Army Veterinary Department. This sword followed Wright throughout his service, seeing front line service in the North Western Campaign and the Relief of Chitral. The army list states he earned three clasps and served with Lockhart and Low. The sword is an 1821 pattern Wilkinson sword as would be expected for an officer joining the Artillery. The scabbard has some cosmetic wear and is missing its leather drag. This sword can be yours for £425 or best offer.
