This absolutely stunning tulwar is among a few favourites that really jumped out at me when I got it.
The form is generally quite standard for a late 18th century tulwar but everything about it has been executed to perfection. The lines are sharp and crisp, there is an ever so subtle cant to the pommel disk and the grip is also rather large.
The blade bears the double eyelash mark and after a test etch appears to be pattern welded.
