The 1827 Pattern Sword Of Capt. Anderson

This is the sword of Captain James Kirkwood Anderson KIA. This is an exceptional sword belonging to a true British hero from Scotland who lost his life defending the British Empire. The sword is a GRV cyphered blade that was purchased in 1911 by Anderson, a master plumber by trade who joined the Territorial army like many young men of his era only to be sent to firstly Gallipoli and then Palestine where he died of wounds at the Battle of Gaza. The sword was retailed by Hobson with a Pillin blade, the etching has his initials and his regiment, the 7th Scottish Rifles.

This sword is in near mint condition with just some minor losses to the plating. This sword can be yours for £600 or best offer.
