Here we have a good example of a South Indian tulwar with the easily recognisable and iconic hilt with a pierced and beaded hilt and a gold inlaid blade that bears Genoese makers marks which are likely Indian made faux markings.
With the gold inlaid eyelash markings and a marking that appears to say Genoa, this sword appears to be Indian made from the inclusion marks on the blade and the style of the eyelash marks. The sword is in good condition with its hilt still retaining its chemical blackening, there are some inclusions to the blade, most of the gold inlay is present. This sword can be yours for £695 or best offer.
