Martini Henrry MKIV £1200


One of the most iconic and aesthetically pleasing firearms and almost symbolic of the British Empire and its later colonial conquests in Africa. This is a Martini Henry MKIV, the last Martini Henry model to be used by British forces before the incoming bolt actions made them obsolete. This rifle was manufactured in Enfield in 1887 and saw use in British hands till it was sold out of service, the rifle has British Indian marking on the stock that appear to signify it was sold to the British Indian Government in 1906.
