M1874 Type B Ottoman Peabody-Martini

This is one of my favourite unique firearms of the 19th century. This is the Turkish Peabody-Martini manufactured in Providence, Rhode Island by the Providence Tool Company, the manufacturers of the Peabody Rifle. Made similarly to a MKI and MKII Martini Henry this rifle was a modern piece of gear needed at the time to modernize against internal strife and conflict with the Russian Empire and it was used to great effect, even being used in last ditch engagements in World War One.

This example was a WW1 bring back from the Eastern theatre.

The rifle has some cosmetic dings to the furniture and one loss near the breech block. This rifle can be yours for £675 or best offer.
