Here we have a rather delightful early 20th century Bersaglieri officers sabre, this is the sword of the Italian light mobile infantry and was still used up until WW2 in Italian Africa. The sword has an incredibly detailed half basket with a beautiful cast lion head pommel. The blade is etched with foliate designs, stands of arms and Italian cyphers.
