Late 19th Century Somali Billao £295



A stunning example of a prestigious Somali billao, the billao was a combat weapon made most common in the mid to late 19th and early 20th centuries.


This dagger is formed incredibly of local steel, an ebony, ivory and copper hilt with an incredibly detailed silver pommel. The leatherwork is in incredible shape with dyed and stitched sheath.
