A late 19th century Mameluke sabre with a more prestigious than average set of fittings than would usually be seen on an average 1831 pattern, whilst not a presentation sword this sword and its fittings are of exceptional quality. Interestingly for a high-end General Officer's sword this sword is service sharpened.
There is a small chip to the grip material which is ivorine not ivory and the leatherwork needs some care to the stitchings.
The sword can be yours for £675 or best offer. Reduced to £525 for Swordvent!
