A late 19th century piece, this bone hilted full tang piece with a solid tapering recurving blade of North Indian origin. The grip is held in place with peened copper rivets.
This is an interesting all-steel piece with a steel bolster where usually a yellow metal would be used. Unadorned and workmanlike this is a good entry-level piece. There is some wear to the blade with some polished out pitting.
This piece can be yours for £140 or best offer.
