A rather fun and unique piece, a silver hilted English style spear pointed bowie knife from the mid 19th century. These knives were used often by British officers on overseas sercice but we're also sold overseas as trade knives.
This one is interesting as the handle is cutler's silver, extensively beaded and has the word "Heil" to the bottom of the pommel.
The knife is in good condition.
