This is a piece I have had in my collection for a while, taken in a trade to display with an Indo-Persian blunderbuss, however it is time for it to leave my personal collection. Like with many Anglo-Indian accoutrements it is decorated with fine mother of pearl mosaic in a geometric floral pattern. The mother of pearl sections are held in place by small brass rivets. The flask I believe is an Indian made copy of a Sykes Patent Flask, its cap is held by a delicate brass chain.
