These fascinating pieces are daggers used by the Tiv people of what is now Nigeria.
These are very similar to bichawa's as they are worn around the knuckles and used in conjunction with a thumb ring to firstly help draw a bow but also to give an archer an offhand weapon that can be kept in the hand.
