A pleasant and honest example of a rather workmanlike tabar axe, this solid head axe is one of the tools of the Northern Indian warrior class and one of the plainer but heftier examples than many I have held. The head is broad coming to a fine edge, the pear finial is solid and helps balance the piece. The shaft is hollow and has a grain of metal or something similar creating a noise when the axe is swung. This axe can be yours for £435 or best offer. Reduced to £395 for Swordvent.
