These pistols are very special, they are works of art in themselves. These pieces were made by Durs Egg, the father-in-law of the first Henry Wilkinson. These damascus barreled pistols and lush walnut furnitured pieces are a matched pair of dueling pistols.
The brass and gilt proof slugs in the barrel are what eventually were addopted by Henry Wilkinson as his proof slugs.
These pistols are in excellent condition with just some minor cosmetic wear to the rear of one of the grips.
