A wonderful mid to late 18th Century firangi of the sirohi (lightly curved) type, this piece has a European blade with moon and cross motif associated with Solingen blades or Northern Italian blades. The sword has two fillers, one terminating two thirds down the length and the other almost all the way to the tip.
This hilt has had most of its silver plating polished off with some flecks remaining.
