C1750 Gilt Lucknow Hilt Tulwar £450

A Lucknow hilted tulwar from the mid to late 18th century with a nicely gilt hilt. The most interesting part of this piece is the 17th century imported Italian or German firanghi blade, I suspect Italian as it has the same profile as a few storta blades I have studied which I imagine would be very attractive to the Indian warrior at the time.
