An interesting North European sidearm or hanger. I have seen these described as town or walking swords. This sword likely dates to the first half of the 18th century but could also be late 17th century, the pommel makes me believe this is Scandinavian or North German.
There is some cosmetic wear but the sword is in a good condition for its age.
