An early 19th century 1822 Pattern sabre with an Indian tulwar blade, this is likely the sword of an Indian officer of the East India Company or the sword of a European who took a fancy to local blades. The sword has an armoury marking which may be either an EIC Factory inventory mark or the marking of an Indian kingdom armoury. The blade is of incredibly high quality with a sun marking and it is laddered pattern welding when etched. The sword has a small crack to the drag of the scabbard and it has had its folding guard removed. This sword can be yours for £645 or best offer.
