Here we have a stunning and absolutely massive example of a North Indian Kora, whilst not the biggest I have seen it is up there with the largest. The sword is overbuilt and incredibly impressive with some fine knurled and chiselled details especially on the cartouche on the blade. Whilst some of these swords were for combat the larger ones tended to be used for buffalo or other large animal sacrifices.
