A classic example of a sabre made in Germany by P.D. Luneschloss, a renowned maker and exporter of blades. This contract appears to predate the US Civil War and lasted till the late Victorian period. This sword appears to be based on a British 1821 sabre, the blade has a more extreme curvature. Interestingly the blade shows some signs of being made of German faux damascus, rather interesting for a plain blade. This sword can be yours for £285 or best offer.
