19th Century Indian Tabar £275

A rather pleasant smaller Indo-Persian tabar axe, this piece is a footmans hand axe with a wickedly curved head, there is a squared off spike attached to the top of the haft and rather than having a spike or hammer back there is an ornamental brass elephant. Potentially a dress or armoury piece due to the ornamental elephant but overall a nice sleepy piece that is hitting the market directly from a collector. The piece is in good condition with some age-related staining but minimal wear.
