This heavy cavalry style sword has a blade that is likely a Solingen piece, the hilt however is rather ambiguous in origin. It is similar to Scandinavian and German hilts but the closest I have found is a Russian sword from the era of Catherine the Great in the Royal Collection Trust (RCIN 61540).
This piece is heavy, a smallsword style sword which handles like a broadsword. This piece is in good condition with a fair amount of its gilt remaining and a good quality grip. This piece can be yours for £750 for Swordvent!
