This is a rather interesting continental dirk with an enormous ivory grip and brass fittings. The piece is likely a naval or gunners dirk and it appears to have been made from a cut-down rapier, the remains of a makers mark and fuller visible despite the reprofiling.
This piece has ivory and will be for sale until the end of June 2022 when the law changes and it will revert to being in my permanent collection. This dagger can be yours for £395 or best offer. Reduced to £335.
