An incredibly fine and rare smallsword of the last half of the 18th Century by renowned silversmith and hilt maker William Kinman. This smallsword hilt is of pierced faceted chiseled sterling silver, hollow yet sturdy giving the sword an incredible weightless feel in the hand. The blade is a finely etched and fullered hollow ground triform blade, light yet rigid, the perfect blade to be worn and used. Silver hallmarks on the blade date this to 1774. William Kinman was born in 1728, is recorded as a prominent silver hilt maker and also a founding member of the Founders' Company of London. This sword can be yours for £1500
