For day three of Swordvent we are traveling back to Europe with this stunning épée du soldat.

Originally made in 1670 this sword persevered all the way through to the late 18th century and even early 19th with examples being seen in artwork depicting Waterloo.

This sword is an interesting combination of broadsword blade and a spadroon hilt with elements of smallsword. With this being a spectacular early 18th century example in near perfect condition.

This sword is being reduced by twenty percent from £750 to £600!
