For the twelfth day of Swordvent there will be a focus on Japan.

Whilst not my focus I believe as a sword collector it is negligent to ignore a culture that generates the blade in such a way.

Tonight's offerings are a heat mint stainless steel gunto with a few interesting features, a wakizashis that could use a good home, a reduction on a katana already available as well as a genuinely fascinating marriage of a Koto Era tachi blade in British Victorian mounts, the blade appearing to be similar to many from the 13th century.
